Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a family of musicians. Her early years were shaped by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the more traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana loves Tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. Her mother taught her to sing. However, she began more intensive training in vocals by Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. the singer was famous as a Mexican opera tenor. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca in the School of Sacred Music. In her early career, she included performances with a variety of orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs in Guadalajara. When she moved from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo in a variety of private occasions. The passion and love she has in music, art and performing keeps her involved in many local projects as a performer and teacher. Ana is also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of the traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
