Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. She has been a part of the fringes of both traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she is also involved in other styles like the hip hop soul genre and trap. Her voice has been called by no less of talented than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, and with a bite that is similar to those of the past. El Mal Querer was her significant commercial breakthrough and critical success in the year 2018. After Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she won a Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami is her third studio album. The singer collaborated with a variety of performers and musicians like Cory Henry. The set came out in on March 20, 2022 following a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to perform on her own in the show. In addition to winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
