Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress best known for her the roles she played in Hum Aapke Hai Koun. Her career began as an actress during the 80s. Her fame was boosted by Tezaab, a film starring an established actor Anil Kooor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir in Dil. Her birthplace was in the Mumbai middle class family and began dancing when she was a child. When she was in her early years as she began acting as a young actress, most of the films she created were not successful. Her fame grew and she became one of India's leading movie actresses. Following her marriage the actress took time off from acting prior to returning. She played a major role on Gulaab Gang, a film about women's struggles in India. Dixit has been nominated 15 times for Filmfare Awards. She won eight of them. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize in India is bestowed to Dixit. Her name is well-known for her social works as well.
